What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

Thousands of athletes worldwide have followed our workouts posted daily on this site and distinguished themselves in combat, the streets, the ring, stadiums, gyms and homes.

  1. Just interested in prices and schedules…. Currently I am ridiculously out of shape at 6’1 270lbs.
    Would like to be back in shape by August or September for 40th birthday and family vacations to the beach… Seriously if I went to the beach right now I would probably get speared by ahab!!!!! Please contact me at email listed thank you

  2. I’m a single mom of 2 kids. Since I had my kids I have let my body go. It’s pathetic how far I have let this go. I want to get fit for not just me but my kids. My physical image and how I carry myself will one day reflect through my kids. I want to get an idea of prices and what not. Hoping to join this band wagon and make a change for the better.

  3. My fiance and I are seniors at ULM. Honestly between working 2 jobs and being a full time student, being in shape is the last thing on our minds. We aren’t too out of shape but definitely want to get a handle on it before it gets out of hand. We both used to play every sport in high school but now don’t have time. Going to the gym is just difficult because there is nothing requiring us to and there is no support system. We just wanna give this a try and see if it would be beneficial.
