At Crossfit 318, we believe that what you put into your body is directly related to how your body performs, both in the gym and in everyday life. The foods you choose will either slow you down and pollute your body, or will give you clean energy to help your body to run more efficiently. In order to maximize your potential while training hard and dealing with all that life throws at you, it’s vital that you fuel your body with the whole, clean foods that it was built to run on.
We don’t like to use the word “diet”, because to us, healthy eating should be a way of life. Instead, we educate our clients about how to lay a healthy foundation for themselves by eating plenty of vegetables, quality sources of protein, fruit, nuts and seeds, and other sources of healthy fats. We don’t believe it’s wise to take a one-size-fits all approach when it comes to nutrition, but we encourage everyone to avoid foods that contribute to inflammation.
